LOGO以“扬州印”的整体造型呈现，具有古典美和历史感，寓意扬州守信、团结、包容、向上的进取精神。图的上方为瘦西湖五亭桥，代表扬州，体现了扬州的地方文化特色；中间的数字“2500”被处理成卷云纹，是春秋瓦当上的“羊”纹，借喻吉祥之意，且“羊”与扬州的“扬”同音，指明了扬州2500周年的厚重历史。整个LOGO采用了“中国红”，一方面是印章的常用颜色，另一方面也象征着喜庆大气、积极向上的城市精神。
