标志作者是日本美术设计师石冈瑛子EikoIshioka。全新的LOGO保留了火箭队标志性的“R”字图标，增加了深灰色的篮球（行星）以及“Houston Rockets”组成的星环。相比原来的副级队标，全新的副级队标在设计上增加了画面感。
