全新的形象标志有着双重的意义，首先它会代表比利时出现在不同的奥林匹克竞赛活动的现场，其次也确定了比利时奥林匹克委员会的整个形象系统。全新的形象以比利时三色国旗为基色，抽象的人物造型形似赢得比赛披着自己的国旗在奔跑、欢呼，庆祝胜利。表达了代表队胜利的信心和民族自豪感。比利时奥运代表队新LOGO由Hoet&Hoet公司设计。
